FPGA-Based Input/Output and Display Interface System

The system consists of 32 inputs implemented using eight 4-way DIP switches, where each input switch is provided with an LED indicator for visual feedback. There are 32 outputs connected through the FPGA output ports, each linked to individual LEDs for output indication. A 16×2 alphanumeric LCD display with a backlight is interfaced through a 10-pin FRC connector to the FPGA port pins, allowing textual data display. Additionally, a four-digit 7-segment display is connected via another 10-pin FRC connector to the FPGA/CPLD port pins for numeric output visualization. The setup also includes a 4×4 key matrix for input operations and multiple clock frequency sources of 10 MHz, 5 MHz, 1 MHz, 500 KHz, and 100 KHz for timing and signal generation purposes.
